Community consultation closes at 5pm (AEST) on August 29. All members of the community are welcome to provide feedback. A draft version of the National Guideline for supporting the learning, participation, and wellbeing of autistic children and their families in Australia is now available for community feedback.
The draft version of the new guideline is now open for community feedback.
The Centre for Disability Research and Policy has put together a team of experts to prepare a submission to this open consultation.
The CDRP team will hold an online consultation workshop on Thursday 18th August at 2pm, open to all who are interested in understanding the guideline better and would like to provide and discuss feedback.
The questions regarding the draft guideline you are encouraged to consider are:
• How well do the recommendations represent the lived experience perspective?
• What are your thoughts and understanding of the evidence base behind the guidelines?
• Are there any specific recommendations within the guidelines on which you would like to share your thoughts?
